Lygon Everyday Chemist has been a trusted part of the Shepparton community since 1979. We are open 6 days a week from to be here when you need us the most. You can always speak with a pharmacist at Shepparton Amcal Pharmacy.
As a pharmacist, advising what to eat AND what not to eat will improve your health outcomes and compliment many therapies.
Also, medical conditions like reflux, food intolerance, and immune disorders do improve when you eat correctly.
But what do you do when too much or too little stomach acid gives you the same symptoms?
This is when a nutritionist comes to the rescue!
In the 1990s, while working in Greensborough, I was introduced to clinical nutritionist Dough Mizzi. At the time he was working with some of Melbourne's most respected Integrative Medical Doctors and had great reviews.
Back then I had a family member who was experiencing servere allergies and rashes. These were relieved by cortisone cream/tablets/nasal sprays, and sometimes antihistamines. We suspected food and other triggers. Doug's food intolerance program helped identify his trigger foods. The customised plan he prescribed improved his health, allowing him to overcome his symptoms and stop using cortisone.
As a result of such a positive experience, personally, we then referred Doug to many of our pharmacy patients. Many of whom provided us with lots of positive feedback on how he transformed and supported their health conditions.
Doug now consults and lives in Queensland. Thanks to online consultations, this allows us to launch The Reflux Clinic in Brunswick East via Zoom.
With over 65,000 patient consultations, Doug will help you:
Reduce your reliance on reflux medication and transform your gut health.
Consultations are online on your computer or in our dedicated Zoom station at Lygon Everyday Chemist.
