There’s no need to suffer in silence. Whether you need help choosing a test, managing symptoms or working out your next step, talk to our team.
Feeling unwell? Get tested—find out what you’re dealing with.
A cough, fever, sore throat or body aches could be flu, COVID-19, RSV or another infection. Symptoms overlap, so you can’t reliably tell which one it is just by how you feel.
Combination home tests are available for influenza A and B, COVID-19 and RSV. Ask us which test is suitable and how to use it. Knowing the cause can help guide treatment, particularly if you’re at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell. Testing information
A negative rapid test doesn’t rule out infection, especially early on. Follow the test instructions and contact us or your GP if symptoms persist or worsen. If you’re at higher risk, seek advice promptly rather than waiting for a positive result.
Stay home, rest up—and let us help with the symptoms.
Give yourself time to recover. Rest, drink fluids and avoid close contact with others while you’re unwell. Wear a mask if you need to attend a healthcare appointment. Flu care advice
Our pharmacists can recommend suitable options for fever and aches, a sore throat or a blocked nose. We’ll check your regular medicines and health conditions, and help you avoid doubling up on ingredients in cold and flu products. These medicines can make you more comfortable while you recover. Symptom relief information
Call us first if you’re unwell. We can discuss your symptoms and the safest way to get the help you need.
Can medicines help you get better quicker?
For some people with flu, prescription antivirals can shorten the illness and reduce complications. They work best when started within 48 hours of symptoms, although later treatment may still be appropriate. Flu treatment advice
COVID-19 antivirals can reduce the risk of severe illness for eligible patients and also need to be started early. RSV is usually managed with supportive care. COVID-19 treatments · RSV care
If you’re older, pregnant, immunocompromised or have a significant medical condition, contact your GP promptly when symptoms begin. Our team can help you understand your options and when a doctor’s assessment is needed.
Haven’t had your 2026 flu vaccine? It’s not too late.
Vaccination remains worthwhile while flu is circulating. Some people qualify for a funded vaccine, including people aged 65 and over, pregnant women and people with specified medical conditions. Ask us to check your eligibility and the appropriate vaccination service for your age. Victorian vaccine information
Book your vaccination when you’re well, or speak with our team.
